imagine

"Our responsibility begins with the power to imagine. It’s just like Yeats said: in dreams begin responsibilities. Flip this around and you could say that where there’s no power to imagine, no responsibility can arise." - oshima, in "kafka on the shore" by harumi murakami

this was my jc

this was the canteen. it used to be packed with parallel benches and tables. a regular hangout at almost anytime of the day, in between any lessons or activities.

this was the library. there was a row of shelves on the left and tables on the right. we used to hang around here when we skipped lectures. i used to read a really big physics reference book as last minute revision.

this used to be a lecture theatre.

this used to be a busy corridor connecting the library, lecture theatres and the other classrooms. the empty room on the left used to be a photostating room. my lazy friend would always rush there to print notes last minute.

this used to be one of the arts classrooms. i used to have tutorial classes here.

this was a row of arts classrooms.

this was another busy corridor, where we would always bump into different friends and wave hi. sometimes we would dribble a soccer ball as we walk. after school this space was used for cca.

this was an arts classroom beside the courts. the students are active in sports and would play soccer or basketball almost after school everyday, by conveniently crossing the carpark outside the classroom.
